The dining table sets the rhythm of the whole area: people gather, work and entertain around it. Before choosing a model, it helps to answer a few practical questions.
How much space you need
A comfortable width per person is about 60 cm. Leave at least 80–90 cm between the edge of the table and the wall or other furniture so that chairs can be pulled out freely.
Shape
- A rectangular table suits elongated rooms.
- Round and oval tables bring people together and soften the geometry of the space.
- A square table works well for small four-seat areas.
Tabletop material
Ceramics resist scratches and heat, glass makes the interior feel lighter, and wood and veneer give a warm, tactile surface. In the showroom you can compare samples and discuss how to care for each material.
A good solution starts with a floor plan: bring the room dimensions to the meeting and the selection will take less time.
